This wasn't my first time in Ubud, Bali and it certainly won't be my last. About seven years ago I spent a decent amount here. It was during this time I started going down a new path in another part of my life, and now I've might have come to the end of that path just as I've come back to Ubud.
Ubud is somewhere in the middle of the island, and while typically I prefer staying near the beach, there is a certain relaxed ambiance that's hard to find in other parts of Bali (or anywhere else in the world really). This place is most well known for it's culture and jungle, and it's very popular for meditation and yoga and just doing not very much.
Whenever I come here my path forward becomes a bit more clear.
